About the event
Event held in collaboration with NUS Alumni Toastmasters Club
It takes good understanding of your audience’s characteristics to tailor your message. Facts can inform your audience about message but telling a story can be more engaging than a typical speech or presentation. Stories have the power to highlight key moments and memories. They can connect you to others through empathy and common experiences.
Learn to practise storytelling techniques and descriptive skills to make a presentation relatable and interesting. Apply your own experience to craft a story and develop a personal style when telling it. You will create stories that will evoke emotional impacts on the audience.
